Indian Trail grew from farmland into subdivisions in about twenty years, and the paint work reflects that. Brandon Oaks, Shannamara, Taylor Glenn, Bonterra and the neighborhoods off Indian Trail-Fairview Road in 28079 are mostly vinyl with hardboard or fiber cement accents, painted trim, shutters and garage doors. Interiors are builder-grade flat over new drywall, thin on the walls and easy to mark. So the calls we get here are interior painting for whole floors at once, cabinet painting on the original oak or maple kitchens, and exterior painting on trim and hardboard that has reached its first real repaint age.

Subdivisions built after 2005 still have young trees, so those houses take full sun on the south and west walls.
